Alin is a coffee industry veteran and the most qualified coffee professional in the country. He is one of the 5 Q Graders in the country and the only AST licensed to run all the Coffee Skills Program modules in Ireland. Also he is one of the 3 Q Assistant Instructors in Europe. With a huge experience, covering coffee shops management, coffee roasting, product development and training, Alin has worked for some of most important companies in the coffee industry and has trained managers and trainers for some of the most known coffee companies on the market. Up to date, Alin has trained more than 2500 individuals. He is the founder and Managing Director of Coffee Laboratory.
Alin is also one of the national judges for the Irish Barista Competition, Irish Latte art Competition and Irish Brewers Cup. He is also the Education Coordinator of the Irish Speciality Coffee Association.
Latte Art and Home brewing trainer / 2019 World Cup Tasting Champion
With 14 years of experience in the coffee industry, Daniel is one of the most respected baristas in the community. He competed several times, achieving some impressive results. He was a finalist of the Irish Latte Art Championship in 2016 and 2018, and won the 2016, 2018 and 2019 Irish Cup tasting Champion. In 2019, Daniel became the World Cup Tasting Champion. He joined Coffee Laboratory’s team to run the Latte Art and the Home brewing courses.
Tea Tasting Trainer
Joerg Muller is one of the country’s leading tea expert & founder of Specialty Tea company Solaris Tea. With a wealth of experience in tea blending, single origin sourcing & a background as a Medical Herbalist (BScHons), he has extensively trained customers all over Europe. He also holds a MBP (Masters of Business Practice) from UCC in business. He is passionate about passing on his knowledge and adding towards the fast growing interest in specialty tea.
Barista skills trainer
Léna has worked in the coffee industry since 2009, she has worked as a barista trainer and in management for the past 3 years. She comes from a family owned café and is working towards opening her own in the near future. From this experience she can provide a wealth of knowledge to any budding barista about the industry. Léna has come on board to teach the barista skills course.
